Logbook – Day 9 by MARIE
Hello to all,
I start this logbook with a news and not the least: yesterday evening at 21:45 (local time), we crossed the 1000km mark!
A stage that feels good but let’s not lose the rhythm, we still have 7000 to go… To celebrate this, we have music on the boat, fajitas and chocolate cakes from the chef this lunch. A meal that warms our hearts after the restless night we spent: swell in all directions, a small drop in water temperature, a 22 knot wind, technical but controlled relay passages, the return of seasickness for some… in short, in our house, we call it routine.
The morale is still there, the desire to move forward too, so that’s the main thing for us here. Your words and encouragement every day remind us of home and motivate us before each relay. So THANK YOU!
I will end this notebook by telling you that if we let Steph and her accomplice M**** at the controls of our dear boat with the possibility of pressing all the buttons, we will see you in 15 years.
See you soon, the road is still long.
